Scaffale dell'Arte exhibition
A journey through Rodari's books, ideas and characters by means of 33 illustrators brought together in an international competition promoted by the Bologna Children's Book Fair. Words that become images, texts that take on colour, stories transformed into figures, all in search of the grammar of imagination. Because "a word thrown into the mind at random produces surface waves and undertows, causes as it falls an infinite series of chain reactions, involving sounds and images, analogies and memories, meanings and dreams."

Workshop
On the occasion of the Gianni Rodari exhibition the Art Workshop offers a journey for adults and kids through the pages of his tales, to read his famous stories together to all the family, get to know his characters and create new stories.
Workshop for kindergartens and primary schools
Tuesday and Thursday from 10.00 to 11.30 am,

Classes taking part in two workshops at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni and the Scuderie del Quirinale can purchase a special ticket for €70 per class group.
Workshop for kids 3>6 years old with their parents
Saturday from 4 to 6 pm and Sunday from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm
