    Tour the exhibition to explore the new ideas developed by American artists between the end of World War II and the late 1970s.  Join the workshop to experiment with the evolution of the image from the abstract to the figurative and vice-versa — a sweeping overview of the most significant changes wrought by Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, Conceptual Art and Photorealism.

    In conjunction with the Guggenheim exhibition, the Art Bookshelf has planned an event entitled:
    Abstract, but Only to a Degree
    A journey designed to encourage the whole family to explore the world of fine art publishing:  reading and recounting literature classics for kids using the vocabulary of Abstract art.
