The photographs in the cycle entitled Mare (Sea), executed from the late nineties on, are images purged of all human or urban presence, images that the artist interprets as interior landscapes, as he endeavors to confer a timeless dimension on the world. Along with the work displayed in the most recent of the series on show in the exhibition, they reveal the beauty of Natura (Nature) and redeem the damage it has suffered.
