Palazzo delle Esposizioni is pleased to present the selected short films concurring to Shoot it out - exhibit your short film (Fatti un film - il tuo cortometraggio in mostra), contest linked to the exhibition Homo sapiens. The great history of human diversity. An occasion to explore and expand the wide range of subjects related to Human evolution up to the present day.
The works, mainly Italian premieres, arrived from all around the world and are now presented to the public in a  two-day screening event.  On Friday 17 February will also take place the award ceremony sustained by Canon, during which the best short films will be awarded at the presence of the cinematographic critic Enrico Magrelli and the public  jury.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the contest SHOOT IT OUT

The film critic Enrico Magrelli has assigned the First Prize to

TESTABALLOON by Valerio Spinelli
and a Special Mention to
BODYPIECES by Maxim Derevianko

The Jury composed by Palazzo delle Esposizioni's  members has assigned the Audience Award to
ZEWDU THE STREET CHILD by Enrico Parenti

We want to thank all the directors who attended the contest and CANON for having offered the prizes. The selected short films will be rerun at Casa del Cinema.
